The fresh resin has a creamy-white appearance, which hardens and deepens in colour over 3-4 months before harvesting.
The harvested solid resin gum has a rich opaque amber to honey colour, and a fine warm, slightly sweet vanilla-like aroma, with elements of cocoa butter and honey.
